Grey vs Tall White
No. Tall Whites are a much taller, pale, human-like type from a single 2002 memoir; Greys are the small examiners of abduction reports.
The difference
Height is the first difference and manner is the second. Greys are described at three to five feet and as detached examiners. Tall Whites, in Charles Hall's account, stand seven to nine feet, age visibly, wear their hair long and negotiate with the US Air Force like diplomats.
The Grey is a composite of many witnesses; the Tall White rests on one man's memoir, which no other witness has confirmed.

In their own dossiers
The Grey is described with more consistency than any other type, partly because the image has been reinforced by decades of book covers, films and television. Witnesses report a being between three and five feet tall with a large, smooth, hairless head that is wide at the cranium and narrow at the chin. The eyes dominate the face: enormous, black, almond-shaped, wrapping slightly around the sides of the head, with no visible pupil, iris or white. The nose is two small openings, the mouth a thin slit that is rarely seen to move, and ears are absent or vestigial.
Charles Hall's Tall Whites are among the most detailed physical descriptions in the contactee literature. He described beings six to eight feet tall as adults and growing taller with age, some reaching nine or ten feet; chalk-white skin, large blue eyes, platinum-white hair, and thin, elongated bodies. Their hands, he said, had four fingers. They aged slowly, lived up to eight hundred years, and wore white or pale jumpsuits with a protective aluminium-coloured suit outdoors. Hall stressed that they were fragile and that their bones broke easily.
