Pleiadian vs Sirian

No. Pleiadians are a human-like contactee and channelled type; Sirians come from ancient-astronaut readings of West African and Egyptian myth and are described more variably.

The difference

Both are 'star family' types from New Age literature, but they come from different sources. The Pleiadian descends from Meier's contact claims and channelled books; the Sirian descends from Robert Temple's reading of Dogon mythology and older ancient-astronaut writing.

Pleiadians are described as human-like teachers; Sirians range from human-like to amphibious, depending on the author.

How to tell them apart

  • Sirian is reported as the taller of the two (5′11″ – 7′7″, against 5′7″ – 6′11″ for Pleiadian).
  • Both belong to the Human-like types family in the Atlas.
  • Reported height: Pleiadian 5′7″ – 6′11″; Sirian 5′11″ – 7′7″.
  • Claimed origin: Pleiadian Pleiades (Taurus); Sirian Sirius (Canis Major).
  • Neither appears in any of the Atlas case files; both are known through literature rather than sightings.

In their own dossiers

Pleiadian

Pleiadians are the Nordic type under a different name, and their description is nearly identical: tall, fair, human-like beings with long blond or golden hair, blue eyes and luminous skin, in close-fitting light-coloured garments. Where the two differ is in emphasis. Nordics are described as watchers; Pleiadians are described as relatives. The literature insists that they are genetically close to humans, sometimes claiming that they seeded or intermarried with early human populations, and that they could pass unnoticed on an Earth street.

Sirian

The Sirian of modern lore is tall and elongated, with cool blue-white or pale skin, white hair and refined features that read as a colder, more austere relative of the Nordic. Some sources describe a luminous quality to the skin and unusually long fingers. The being is almost always portrayed as intellectual rather than warm: a scholar and builder rather than a guide.
