Pleiadians look like us; Arcturians, in the channelled literature, do not. Arcturians are described as small, blue-green or luminous beings of a more advanced spiritual order, often as healers or guides rather than visitors.
Neither is reported in sightings. Both exist through channelling, and the differences are those between two sets of authors.

In their own dossiers
Pleiadians are the Nordic type under a different name, and their description is nearly identical: tall, fair, human-like beings with long blond or golden hair, blue eyes and luminous skin, in close-fitting light-coloured garments. Where the two differ is in emphasis. Nordics are described as watchers; Pleiadians are described as relatives. The literature insists that they are genetically close to humans, sometimes claiming that they seeded or intermarried with early human populations, and that they could pass unnoticed on an Earth street.
Arcturians appear only in channelled and New Age literature from the 1980s onward, and their description reflects that source. They are said to be small, between three and four feet tall, with slender bodies, large heads and oversized luminous eyes in shades of blue or teal. Skin is pale blue, aquamarine or greenish, and several sources describe the body as partly non-physical, more a stable pattern of light than flesh. There are no fingers in some accounts, or three long ones in others.
