Andromedans are described as human-like and political, a council that debates Earth's future; Arcturians as small, non-physical healers. The Andromedan story comes largely from Alex Collier's 1990s talks; the Arcturian from Norma Milanovich's 1990 book.

In their own dossiers
Arcturians appear only in channelled and New Age literature from the 1980s onward, and their description reflects that source. They are said to be small, between three and four feet tall, with slender bodies, large heads and oversized luminous eyes in shades of blue or teal. Skin is pale blue, aquamarine or greenish, and several sources describe the body as partly non-physical, more a stable pattern of light than flesh. There are no fingers in some accounts, or three long ones in others.
Andromedans are described as tall, slender humanoids with skin in shades of pale blue, indigo or violet, sometimes with a faint iridescence, and with elongated features and elegant hands. Hair, when present, is dark and often described as braided or ornamented. Eyes are large and light-coloured. The type is portrayed as serene and formal, more diplomat than warrior or healer.
