UFO sightings in Alabama
Alabama's best-known case is the 1973 Falkville 'metal man', which police chief Jeff Greenhaw photographed as a silver figure on a country road before, he said, it fled faster than his car. The images are disputed and Greenhaw's life unravelled afterward, but the case remains the state's signature encounter.
