David Grusch
The former officer who told Congress in 2023 the US holds recovered non-human craft.
Grusch is a decorated former Air Force intelligence officer who worked on the UAP task force. In 2023 he told journalists, and then a House subcommittee under oath, that the United States operates a decades-long programme to recover and reverse-engineer craft of non-human origin, and that 'non-human biologics' had been recovered. He said his knowledge was second-hand, from more than forty witnesses, and that he had given the classified details to the Intelligence Community Inspector General.
He presented no physical evidence in open session. The Pentagon's AARO office stated it had found no verifiable information to substantiate the claims. His testimony is the most consequential of the modern era and remains unproven and, as of 2026, unretracted.
